About us
Atlas Bond & Credit Ltd was founded to fill a precise gap: SMEs operating across several European markets struggle to find a broker able to support them with the same technical expertise in every country, on surety and credit.
To turn surety and credit insurance from a procedural formality into a strategic lever. Companies bidding for contracts, or selling to their commercial customers on credit terms, need a partner who understands the risk of their sector — not just the shape of the contract.
We work alongside companies, local brokers and intermediaries to build tailored solutions, market by market, holding the same technical standard wherever we operate.
The company's registered office is in Ireland, from which it operates under freedom of services across European Union and European Economic Area markets, in accordance with the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD, 2016/97/EU) and Irish insurance intermediation law.
The choice of an Irish base reflects the pan-European ambition of the project: a single point of regulatory governance, consistent across every market we serve.
How we work
Classes 14 and 15 only. We don't dilute our technical expertise across lines of business we don't know deeply.
We enter a country once we have solid underwriting capacity, local relationships and regulatory understanding — not before.
Clear terms, defined response times, readable reporting for clients and broker partners.
Digital tools for data collection, exposure monitoring and case management — not technology for its own sake.
We work closely with insurers, reinsurers and local broker networks to deliver timely solutions.
We don't enter a market for a single deal: we build a lasting presence and long-term relationships.
Governance
Atlas Bond & Credit Ltd is authorised to carry out insurance intermediation activity in Ireland and operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of Ireland. Cross-border activity in EU/EEA markets is carried out under freedom of services in accordance with the IDD.
Tell us about your sector and the countries you operate in: we'll tell you clearly whether and how we can help.
